The project started with a problem I felt every night: the original tube light was bright, but painfully harsh. I wanted a lampshade that keeps the illumination practical while making the light comfortable to live with.

Using parametric design, I created a twisted, organic enclosure that acts as a diffuser. By night, the arranged slats filter the light into bunches of radiance, painting the floor with a rhythmic, striped pattern that turns simple illumination into an atmospheric experience.
